The reconstruction of the M-4 highway with the number of lanes increased to 6 within the framework of the implementation of the infrastructure project “Bypassing Aksai”, which is large for the Rostov Region, is gaining momentum.
About fifty road builders of the contracting company Donaerodorstroy began to widen the subgrade (expansion) of the highway.
Currently, work is underway on the plant to remove vegetable soil (103,000 cubic meters have already been removed), transport it (26,000 tons have been transported), and embankment (38,000 cubic meters). Also, road experts managed to mount a temporary barrier (3,500 linear meters).
In the process of reconstructing the third stage of the bypass of Aksay, the best modern equipment was involved, its arsenal of which includes 32 dump trucks, 2 motor graders, 5 bulldozers, excavators manufactured by the leaders of the construction industry.
Soon, the road workers will begin to build a crushed stone base.
During the reconstruction, the road will be brought up to the parameters of category IA with six lanes.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to build two bridges: across the Tuzlov River and an 83-meter overpass over the highway to the village of Grushevskaya in Aksaysky district.
The length of the reconstruction site is 12.3 km.
After completion of work, the permitted speed will be 110 km / h.
Work under the contract should be completed at the end of September 2021.
