THE BEST IN MOTOR TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT GOT REWARDS ON ROAD USER DAY

Shortly before the professional holiday – the Day of the Automobile and Municipal Passenger Transport Operator, the Motor Transport Department of the branch of the JSC “Donaerodorstroy” finalized results of the Best Driver Award among dump truck drivers.

On October 26, 2016, Yu. F. Proskurin, the head of the Motor Transport Department, gave certificates of merit and money certificates to employees who achieved high professional results, improved road safety and quality.

The ceremony took place in the Company’s construction camp located near the construction site of the 16-kilometer approach road to the new Platov Airport – one of the key infrastructure facilities built as part of preparations to the FIFA World Cup 2018.

From July to September 2016, the expert committee evaluated drivers’ work by three criteria: saved fuel, technical availability of a transport unit before work, task execution rate.

The contest results revealed the best:

- Grigoriy Grigorievich Panasovich – First Prize (certificate for 30,000 rub.);
- Aleksandr Nikolayevich Ponomarev – Second Prize (certificate for 20,000 rub.);
- Aleksandr Dmitrievich Bagno – Third Prize (certificate for 10,000 rub.).

According to Yu. F. Proskurin, this drivers’ contest will be held every three months, which will help to get the Company’s employees focused on increasing work efficiency and motivated to have new achievements.

As it was also noted, extensive experience and professional competence of each employee of the Motor Transport Department make it possible to successfully deliver regional and federal projects today.

Note: The Motor Transport Department, a branch of the JSC “Donaerodorstroy”, was established in October 2011 by merging all the equipment fleet into one department. The department is based in Bataysk. The headcount of the Motor Transport Department is 436 employees, it has 154 units of equipment. The impact force of the truck fleet is Volvo trucks and dump trucks. Within nine months of 2016, they transported 8,570,350 tons of construction materials and equipment.
